Times of Waste

Times of Waste is a research project exploring the potential of waste as a dynamic and transformable resource. The project aims to dissect cultural connotations of waste and to influence the discussion on sustainability within the region of Basel and beyond.

The brief for this project was to create the visuals and help lead the design of an exhibition, aimed at giving insight into the transdisciplinary research of the project and present different components of the project from an aesthetic-theoretical perspective. The exhibition is an assemblage of different fragments playing together associatively: a video projection with atmospheric landscapes and perspectives, sound essays, a smartphone map animation, metal relics, and print collateral.

Visuals created were applied to print materials, animations, and web.
